High Pressure Propane Quick Connects
Quick Connection Units
Connecting and disconnecting to a propane gas tank could not be easier! Disconnect the connector and the propane gas is automatically cut off. The valve is inside the Couple-SafeŽ female coupler. The QD5C is a five foot, 1/4" ID thermoplastic hose with a Couple-SafeŽ female connector and 1/4" NPT male fitting. These are also available in 10, 15, and 20 foot lengths. With the unit you get one matching eight inch, 1/4" ID thermoplastic hose with a Couple-SafeŽ male connector and a 3/8" female gas flare fitting. The QDM8 "pigtail" is designed to permanently attach to the gas appliance. If you have several cookers you would attach a "pigtail" to each cooker. The longer hose is designed to permanently attach to the propane regulator. These units are UL and CSA approved. Working pressure of the hose is 350 PSI. Working pressure of coupling is 250 PSI.
